Little Leland is growing up so quickly. This tiny baby monkey is becoming more active and curious every day, and now he has reached an exciting new stage in his little life—learning how to walk.
His loving mom, Lila, seems to know that her little boy is ready for a new challenge. She patiently begins giving Leland his very own walking lessons. But the way this young mom teaches her baby is simply too adorable!
Lila stays close to Leland and gently encourages him to stand. She watches his tiny legs carefully as he tries to find his balance. Leland stands for a moment, looks at Mom, and then suddenly wobbles and sits right back down!
It almost seems like he is saying, “Mom, that was enough for today!”

Leland looks at his mom, takes one tiny step, and then quickly reaches out for her. Mom Lila happily welcomes him into her arms, giving him the comfort and love he needs before encouraging him to try again.
There are moments when Leland loses his balance and becomes a little frustrated. But Lila never makes him feel like he has failed. She stays beside him, comforts him, and gives him the confidence to try again.

Lila understands that her little boy cannot learn everything in one day. Every baby has to discover the world at their own pace. So she keeps giving Leland lesson after lesson, patiently helping him become stronger and more confident.
With every practice, Leland seems to improve a little more. His tiny steps become steadier, and his curiosity grows bigger. Soon, he starts looking around his home as if he is already planning his next big adventure!
Mom Lila probably knows that once Leland really learns how to walk, she may have a very busy little boy to chase around!
But for now, she is happy to watch him grow.
After another tiring lesson, Leland finally becomes exhausted. His tiny legs have worked so hard, and he decides that crawling back into Mom’s loving arms is much easier than walking!
Lila gently hugs her tired baby, letting him rest against her. For Leland, Mom is still the safest and most comforting place in the whole world.
