Deep in the beautiful surroundings near Bayon Temple, the Amari Group is home to many monkeys living together. Among them are old mother Tima and her little son, Timo, who is still very attached to his mother’s milk.
Poor little Timo is growing bigger, but he still behaves like a tiny newborn whenever he wants milk. Every time he feels hungry or simply wants the comfort of nursing, he rushes toward his mother, calling out with his sweetest crying voice.
However, old Mom Tima seems to have reached her limit. After spending so much time raising her little boy, she has started teaching him an important lesson: it is time to become stronger and more independent!
Whenever Timo approaches her belly searching for milk, Tima gently but firmly closes the nursing position and moves him away. She wants her little boy to understand that he cannot depend on breastfeeding forever.
But Timo is definitely not ready to accept this new rule!
The moment his mother refuses to give him milk, poor Timo begins crying loudly. He follows her everywhere, repeatedly begging and reaching toward her belly. Sometimes he sits right beside her, looking up at her with his adorable, pleading eyes, hoping she will change her mind.
Unfortunately, Tima doesn’t easily give in. She sometimes looks tired and annoyed by her son’s endless milk requests. She tries to move away, find a quiet place to rest, and enjoy some time without her little milk addict constantly bothering her.
But Timo never gives up! As soon as he sees his mother sitting down again, he quickly approaches her and starts another crying performance.
His little tantrums seem endless. He cries, reaches for milk, gets rejected, and then starts all over again!
Other members of the Amari Group continue their daily activities around the Bayon Temple area, while this funny but heartbreaking mother-and-son drama unfolds.
Although Tima may feel exhausted by her son’s stubborn behavior, she is trying to encourage him to grow up, explore his surroundings, and gradually learn to live without depending on milk all the time.
Poor Timo, however, still believes that mother’s milk is the best thing in the whole world!
Will little Timo finally accept Mom Tima’s weaning lesson, or will he continue crying and begging for milk every single day?
Growing up is never easy, especially for a little milk-loving monkey who isn’t ready to say goodbye to his favorite comfort! πππΌ
