Poor little Bean was just a tiny, innocent baby monkey who wanted to stay close to her mother, Button. Like any little baby, Bean longed for Mommy’s warmth, gentle hugs, and the feeling of being loved and protected. She believed that no matter what happened, her mother would always be the safest place in the world.
But sadly, things were very different that day.
On the top of the roof, Mom Button seemed extremely tired and irritated. She wanted some space to rest, and every time little Bean tried to approach her, Button became increasingly impatient. Every time Button turned toward her with another warning, Bean flinched and hesitated, unsure whether to move closer or remain where she was.
The saddest part was that Bean still kept looking at Button with hopeful eyes. Even after being rejected again and again, she seemed to believe that Mommy might eventually change her mind and give her a gentle hug.
But Button continued to turn away, seemingly wanting to be left alone.
Little Bean lowered her head and let out another heartbreaking cry. Her tiny hands reached forward, but she didn’t dare move any closer. She wanted her mother’s love so desperately, yet she was met with nothing but rejection.

As the moments passed, Bean remained close enough to watch Button, hoping for even the smallest sign of kindness. She didn’t ask for anything special. She simply wanted to feel safe, to receive comfort, and to know that she still mattered to her mother.
